Most Computers are shipped with the display configured at the lowest resolution and color depth.
Set the display for the highest resolution and color depth that your computer / monitor will allow.
800 x 600 16-bit (65535 Colors/Hi-Color) is the minimum.
1024 x 768 24-bit (16 Million Colors/True-Color) or greater is ideal.
